The Baybank cashcard is a full functioning debit card and your key to financial convenience. The cashcard allows you to make cash withdrawals and transfers by accessing your personal Baybank checking and savings account(s) at any one of thousands of Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) displaying the Pulse and/or CIRRUS symbols.
You can also purchase goods and services with the cashcard at more than 15 million VISA merchants world-wide. The cashcard works like a check but acts like a credit card and you merely record your purchase or ATM transaction in your check register. A description of all transactions and purchases will appear on your monthly checking and savings statements. There is no monthly service charge regardless of the number of VISA purchases made each month. No ATM fee will be charged to a Baybank cashcard customer when using a Baybank ATM.
A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is assigned to your cashcard to allow you access to ATMs and Point Of Sale (POS) machines. For security purposes, your cashcard has two separate daily limits. One for ATM transactions - $500.00 per day or five (5) transactions. One for purchases at VISA merchants - $1,000.00 per day or ten (10) transactions. You may reach your limit for the day at ATMs and still use your cashcard to purchase goods and services at VISA merchants or vice versa. Qualifying cashcard users may have their limits increased by requesting such action at one of Baybank's three locations. Customers must apply for the cashcard and meet a minimum set of criteria for approval. Applications are available at each Baybank location.
For your security, cashcard transactions may be blocked when using your cashcard outside of your normal spending area. If you plan on vacationing outside the U.S. call us at 786-2299 and let us know your departure and return date.
